We’re thrilled to announce that Tim Hanks, our brilliant Director, took home his third Game Butcher of the Year award in a row on Thursday at the Eat Game Awards.
The national award, that is a combination of votes and a game meat box, cemented Hanks’ Meat & Game at the top of the list of UK game dealers.
“It’s been a rollercoaster of a ride,” said Tim after the event. “Three in a row. I can’t believe it. So many thanks to everyone that has voted for us again – Our wonderful customers. We are driven by quality. We take great pride in every game carcass that we process and often we know the exact piece of ground where it came from. This gives us a huge advantage in butchery and knowing what our customers want and expect.
“Game is wild and very different to regular meat and takes judgment to cut and process,” Hanks continued. “This award shows we’re doing something right. We’re overjoyed.”
